- General Description
- The 6993 ink series is an air drying liquid ink for application by small orifice dotting pens or monofilament line inkers for making removable dots on silicon wafers.
Accessory Chemicals:
The addition of thinner may be required to maintain a viscosity appropriate for the applicationmethod. Dried marks can be removed by immersion into the heated print remover (40 to 50°C).Rinse with alcohol.

Drying /Curing:Still alcohol soluble when heated:93 degC < 10 minutes
121 degC < 6 minutes
150 degC < 30 seconds
Technical Data:
This series is not controlled for ionic purity.
Dots can develop resistance to acetone after sufficient baking, but heated 540 cleaner willremove them,This ink is not water soluble.
6993 inks do not settle or separate in the inker and do not dry at the tip of the inker.
6993 is not controlled or tested for ionic impurities. Use 6990.
Shelf Life: The shelf life for this ink series is six months from the date of shipment or twelve monthsfrom the date of manufacture,whichever is less.
Optimum storage condition is at 5-109C in the original unopened container. Allow ink to warmgradually to room temperature before use.
